墨尔本室内设计工作室Sally Caroline的创始人兼设计总监 Sally Knibbs， 将 Lilac Linen 描绘成天堂般的美妙境地，而且，它并不遥远。

Melbourne-based interior design studio Sally Caroline founder and director Sally Knibbs paints Lilac Linen as if it were a small slice of heaven and, well, it’s not far off. 

房主是一位年轻的女性企业家，初为人母，想要一个拥有仪式感的家，一个可以抚慰工作后疲惫倦怠的家，一个宁和平静、自然而然的家。

The client, a young entrepreneur and new mum, wanted a home where she and her family could unwind after a busy day and reconnect with each other and nature. 

Sally Caroline 用低调的色彩、天然的材料和精致的物品组成的“合唱团”，完美契合了客户的愿景，一切都恰到好处，融合一曲成舒缓和谐的美妙和声。

Sally Caroline have measured up to this wish with a choir of dusky colours, honest materials and beautiful objects, all singing together in perfect harmony.

整洁的空间，清晰的布局，管家式的储藏室和直观通达的收纳空间完美规避了厨房里的混乱。

Clean space, clear layout; a butler’s pantry and intuitive storage keep mess at bay in the kitchen.

厨房和用餐区配有大理石操作台、淡粉色圆形餐桌、白色曲感扶手椅和带羊绒坐面的白色高脚凳。

The kitchen and dining space feature a marble console, a custom dining table , white curved armchairs and white barstools with sheepskin upholstery. 

为了与“干净、现代感的调性”保持一致，空间经历了一次戏剧性的转变。房屋原有的砖墙由大面积白色铺陈，内置优雅的钢框架门窗，与宁静的环境保持一致。

In keeping with a “clean, contemporary relevance”, the space underwent a dramatic transformation. The home’s original walls have been superseded by massive white and steel-framed windows and doors, adopting the same tune as its tranquil surroundings. 

Sally Caroline 将同样的理念应用于室内设计，将客户对中性色和柔粉色的喜爱转化为一片避离尘嚣的静谧栖居。

Sally Caroline have applied the same philosophy to the interiors, translating the client’s love of calming neutrals and soft pastels into sequestered spaces of rest. 

Sally 说这是一堂关于平衡的设计课。平衡造在俏皮与永恒间，在简约与艺术间，在节奏与安静间，在功能与美感间。

Sally says it’s a lesson in balance; between playfulness and timelessness, simplicity and artistry, tempo and quietude, and function and beauty.

卧室，以触觉感官和适当的克制来表达自我，使素淡的配色、优雅的材质和美丽的物件能够有机融合，营造坦荡素净的自在氛围。

The bedroom expresses itself in tactile layers and a level of restraint that allows the curation of dusky colours, noble materials and beautiful objects to stay harmoniously, creating a free and pure atmosphere.

柔和的腮红色、丁香色、杏色和霓虹灯的流行光感平衡了中性色的单调性，在俏皮和永恒之间达成了完美的平衡。

Calming neutral colour ways counterbalanced by expanses of soft blush, lilac, apricot and pops of neon strike a perfect balance between playfulness and timelessness.

主更衣室是客户的一个私人宝库——体现了她对旅行、收藏和购物的热爱。

The master dressing room is a treasure of the client – of her love of travelling, collecting and shopping.

“It has the atmosphere of a showroom,” Sally says; “both functional and beautiful”.

儿童房以大面积柔粉色铺陈空间，丝绒的坐凳，舒适柔软的婴儿床，独立的粉色衣柜和简约而富有童真的玩偶摆件，无一不彰显了这位母亲对孩子无言而悉心的呵护。

The children's room is decorated with massive soft pink, a velvet stool, a comfortable crib, a independent pink wardrobe and lovely dolls, All show the  mother's silent  caress and love for her children.

对于客户而言，每个空间都有机会感受仪式的补充。厨房激发烹饪创意；餐厅促进家庭团聚；卧室伴人一夜好梦；浴室可疗愈身心，拂去疲惫；一系列生活空间激发了有意义的交流对话。

For the client, each space is a chance to feel replenished by rituals. The kitchen inspires culinary creativity; the dining space beckons dinner party guests; the bedrooms promote a long night’s rest.

象征客户的个性元素在每个空间角落，在每个生活瞬间，以自然的方式穿插其中。当你目及羊绒椅凳、定制的葡萄酒橱柜、淡粉色的石头摆件和金色的把手， 可体味一二。

Elements of the client’s personality are instilled in these moments, from sheepskin bar stools, bespoke wine draws, blush-pink stone and gold-painted handles. 

当然，家庭成员宠物狗Pixie也拥有独立浴室和专属餐厅。

The family member Pixie, a pet dog, also has her own dedicated area for bathing and feeding, of course.

卫浴室主以灰白调，配有大理石洗手池和一些细腻的纯白小物件，有一种含蓄的美感。

The bathroom  is widely-uses white and gray, with a marble sink and some delicate white  objects,  showing a subtle beauty.

对于设计师来说，家和一切个人所有都是个体特性的彰显——设计它们本身就是一种仪式。

For the designers, Our homes and everything they hold are a snapshot of who we are – designing them is a ritual in itself. 

明白这一点，Sally Caroline给这户家庭的家庭，交付了一个完美答案。它，可以陪伴他们度过风风雨雨。
